本项目位于南京市江宁区麒麟高新技术产业开发区东片区，天泉路以北、龙腾大道以东、天吉路以南。东临青龙山，西距市中心15公里。项目南侧为已规划并正在建设的中科院“一院四所”中的四个研究所新址，西侧则为麒麟区为麒麟科技城预留的智创园区用地。周边的用地性质决定了本地段肩负着整个以科学院南京分院为核心的科技城“整合”和“统领”的任务。

The project is located in the east section of Qilin High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Jiangning District, Nanjing. It is also to north of Tianquan Road, east of Longteng Avenue and south of Tianji Road.It is adjacent to Qinglong Mountain in the east and 15 kilometers away from the urban area which is on its west side. The new sites of the four institutes in the “one academy and four institutes” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences that has been planned and under construction are located at the south side of the project, and the land for the Zhichuang Park reserved for Kirin Science and Technology City in Qilin District. The nature of the surrounding land determines that the local section shoulders the task of “integrating” and “unifying” the entire science and technology city centered on the Nanjing Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

园区形成自然与科学的双轴规划策略，自然轴顺应龙脉的山水轴，源于紫金山，指向校园，汇聚于山角下，写意出“书林”的图书馆。并指引校园外向型广场，对应图书馆，联系着公共教学楼和双创中心，与二期的科创园共同营造出花园广场。垂直于山水轴的科学轴，作为理性的结构轴，串联科研区和教学区，形成完整的空间秩序。从半开放的校前广场，到檐下广场，通过透明厅堂，进入知识的殿堂，拾级进入图片馆，阅读空间是阅读知识的过程，漫歩于知识的山林，沉浸于知识的海洋。

Planning strategy for axes of nature and science is adopted in the park. The natural axis conforms to the landscape axis of the dragon vein. It originates from the Purple Mountain, flows to the campus, and gathers under the foot of the mountain where the library with “book forest” is located. The natural axis also guides the campus`s open square to face the library which connects with public teaching buildings and center of innovation and entrepreneurship. Cooperating with the second-phase scientific innovation park, they jointly create a garden square.   As a rational structural axis, the scientific axis perpendicular to the landscape axis connects  with the scientific research area and the teaching area to form a complete spatial order. You can walk from the semi-public square in front of the campus, go through the Yanxia Square and transparent halls and take the stairs to enter the library which is the palace of knowledge. Reading the space is also learning knowledge. Walk in the mountain forests of knowledge and immerse yourself in the ocean of knowledge.

园区内单体建筑的设计，融合了中国精典建筑的“屋檐深远、气势雄浑”，呈现出多层次的“山水模件”，节奏的变化、交叠，构成一幅连绵的山水画卷。双创与继续教育楼位于校园西北角, 北靠绿带, 西邻城市干道。建筑为地上五层，地下一层的多层建筑。其中, 地上面积为10430㎡, 地下面积为5678㎡。双创与继续教育楼的设计做到了产、学、研相结合，功能上既相对独立又做到了对外开放。建筑南向主要为办公室、继续教育教室以及相关配套教学空间，西北向则为创意交流，实践工坊以及展示功能的大空间。

The design of the single building in the park absorbs the “profoundness and magnificence”of the classic architecture of China, showing a multi-level “landscape module”. The rhythm changes and overlaps to form a continuous landscape painting. The Building of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Continuing Education is located at the northeast corner of the campus  with green belts to the north and urban main roads to the west.The building is multi-story with five floors on the ground and one floor under ground. Among them, the construction area above the ground is 10,430 m², and the underground construction area is 5,678 m². The design of the building achieves the integration of production, education and research. Its functions are relatively independent and open to the outside. Offices, classrooms for continuing education and relevant supporting teaching space are arranged at the west side of the building, while large space for creative exchange and displaying functions and practice workshops are arranged at the northwest side.

双创与继续教育楼除在西、南两侧作为教学及创业人员的出入口外, 在北侧展厅部分也实现了直接对外开放, 方便外来人员的参观交流。在立面风格上，建筑通过虚实处理增强了立面的变化。通过强调竖向线条，增强了建筑的现代气息以及韵律之美，而砖石材料的使用又突显出科学院建筑的历史厚重。从建筑的整体造型看，既简洁大方又富于变化，成为整个园区对外开放的标志性窗口。

In addition to the entrances and exits for teaching staff and entrepreneurs on west and east sides of the Building of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Continuing Education, the building also has another entrance and exit at the exhibition hall in the north, facilitating the visit and exchange of outsiders. In the facade style, the building enhances the change of the facade through virtual and real processing. The emphasis of the vertical lines enhances the building`s modern atmosphere and the beauty of rhythm, and the use of masonry materials highlights the history of constructions of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The overall shape of the building is both simple and generous and has become a symbolic window for the opening of the entire park.

图书馆多功能综合大楼位于校园中心地带，西侧与双创学院、教学楼围合外向广场，南侧与教学楼、宿舍楼形成校前广场，将图书馆、档案馆、科技馆合为一体，形成校园的学习中心、活动中心、计算中心。

The library`s all-purpose comprehensive building is located in the center of the campus. To its west are the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and teaching buildings, all of them form an open square. In the south side, teaching buildings and dormitory buildings and it form a square in front of the campus. The library, archives, and science and technology museums are integrated to form a learning center, activity center and computing center of the campus.

建筑的外立面采用真砖砌筑与玻璃幕墙相结合的方式,在每个建筑模件单元体中，西南向采用砖砌格栅的形式结合内部玻璃幕墙，形成细密而通透的视觉感受，而朝向东北的立面则采用通透玻璃幕墙，形成室内空间稳定柔和的采光效果。

The external facade of the building is made by true bricks and glass curtain walls. In each building modular unit body, the southwest direction is combined with the interior glass curtain wall in the form of a brick grille to form a fine and transparent visual experience. The facade facing the southwest is made by brick-made grilles and internal glass curtain walls, which makes it look fine and transparent. The facade facing the northeast is made of transparent glass curtain walls to form a stable and soft lighting indoor daylight effect.

建筑的空间布局与校园的整体规划相呼应，顺应山水轴线为图书馆中庭空间，两层通高玻璃幕墙打通了校园的东西视觉通廊，使之成为真正意义上的自然山水龙脉。南北的科学轴线，则依次布置了檐下广场、科学会堂、图书馆书库、图书馆中庭、数字图书馆机房以及图书馆内部办公用房，形成完整的空间秩序。二层三层空间为图书阅览及学习空间，四层通高空间为校史展览及学生活动，所有功能既相互独立，又互为补充，有机统一。

The spatial layout of the building echoes the overall planning of the campus. The atrium space of the library walks along the landscape axis. The two-story glass curtain wall opens the visual corridor between western and eastern sides of the campus, making it a true dragon vein of natural landscape. The Yanxia Square, the science hall, library stacks, library atrium, computer rooms for digital library and the internal offices of the library are arranged along the south-to-north scientific axis to form a complete spatial order. The second-floor and third-floor spaces are used for reading and learning. The fourth-floor double-height space is used for school history exhibition and student activities. All functions are independent and complementary to each other and organically unified.
